We feel extremely proud of our Catalonia Hotels & Resorts in Mexico for being part of the TripAdvisor GreenLeaders Program.
We have always stood for the eco-practices we fulfill in our Resorts. We constantly worry about the care and maintenance of all our landscapes, our beaches and the protection of flora and fauna around us.
We decided to participate in TripAdvisor GreenLeaders program, with the purpose of highlighting the ecological actions we take in our Caribbean Resorts.
The online survey to become a GreenLeader, focus its attention on the practices that imply better environmental results in the hotel industry. Seven sections compose the survey; the first section compels the “mandatory practices” that all establishments must satisfy, and then six sections related to energy, water, waste, purchasing, website, innovation, and education.
After sending the survey and wait for the results, we can now proudly announce that we have achieved the Platinum Level in all our Resorts in Mexico, Catalonia Playa Maroma, Catalonia Riviera Maya and Catalonia Royal Tulum.
This is the highest level granted by TripAdvisor and reinforces the commitment made by Catalonia Hotels & Resorts with the environment and the ecosystems that surround our Resorts.
Nowadays, our profiles in TripAdvisor, display the eco-practices achieved in each one of our Riviera Maya Resorts.
We are convinced of our effort. We will remain working, jointly with our guests for the care of the environment; and will continue to implement the adequate measures to continue in our customers preference and keep our label as Green Leaders.
