At Catalonia Hotels & Resorts the safety of our guests is priority. We are constantly adapting our internal procedures according to the evolution of the worldwide situation, taking into consideration official governmental guidelines related to COVID-19.

Following up on the most recent announcement by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in regards the requirement for a negative COVID-19 test to all air passengers, we herewith would like to provide an update.

Antigen testing will be available for guests right in the comfort of our Resorts located in Mexico and Dominican Republic. The procedure will be carried out by a medical professional in a designated area of the resort with an additional cost.

Guests should contact our guest experience department prior or upon arrival, in order to schedule the test which should be done no more than 72 hours prior returning to their country. Test results will be received the same day.

For guests travelling to countries that do not accept the antigen test, concierges at each resort will be glad to assist by providing contacts and approximate costs of testing available thru off property, third party providers.

The previous will be available to all air passengers until the requirements marked by the CDC change.
