Here is a small list for you to keep in mind now that you are visiting us in the Mexican Caribbean. We encourage you to spend your days at our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cataloniahotels.com\/en\/hotel\/catalonia-grand-costa-mujeres\"><strong>hotel in Costa Mujeres<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before we start, you should know that all of them are located in the Hotel Zone. We share with you a small <a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/bFPzQaSybpKYrgvH9\">map<\/a> so you can locate them, we are going from north to south.<\/p>\n<h2>Playa Linda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Like all beaches in the Mexican Caribbean, this one has turquoise blue colors and soft sand in which your feet will sink. It is located very <strong>close to downtown Cancun<\/strong> so it is a favorite for tourists and locals alike.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-20817\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_740709607-min-620x414.jpg\" alt=\"Playa Linda\" width=\"620\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Playa Langosta<\/h2>\n<p>Family atmosphere, calm waves, and shallow depth. It is important to note that it is <strong>one of the 3 inclusive beaches in Cancun, that is, it has ramps and adequate facilities<\/strong> for people with reduced mobility, so they can enjoy a day of sea and sun. On your visit to this beach, take the opportunity to have your picture taken at the Cancun lettering stand.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-20818\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_761577502-min-620x414.jpg\" alt=\"Playa Langosta\" width=\"620\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Playa Tortugas<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Playa Tortugas <\/strong>is a\u00a0beach with <strong>soft waves and shallow waters<\/strong>, so it is a great option to visit with the family. If you want to explore <strong>Isla Mujeres<\/strong>, this can be a good option since from here you can take the ferry that crosses to the island.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-20825 size-large\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/shutterstock_647628562-min-620x414.jpg\" alt=\"Playa Tortugas\" width=\"620\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Playa Caracol<\/h2>\n<p>One more with calm waves, however, <strong>the extension of this beach is small<\/strong> compared to the others we are mentioning, however, that does not take away how beautiful it is, besides, it feels like you are the only one on it. <strong>There are restaurants and bars<\/strong> in the area.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-20819\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_740678014-min-620x414.jpg\" alt=\"Playa Caracol\" width=\"620\" height=\"414\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Playa Gaviota Azul or Forum<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Playa Gaviota Azul or Forum:<\/strong> one of the most famous in the Hotel Zone and <strong>preferred by surf lovers<\/strong>, the waves are not as rough, but it does allow you to enjoy the tide. Access to it is very easy, locate the Convention Center and walk until your feet touch the sand.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-20820\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_637676815-min-620x318.jpg\" alt=\"Playa Gaviota Azul \" width=\"620\" height=\"318\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we continue with this list, we can&#8217;t forget that <strong>most of Cancun&#8217;s beaches are Blue Flag<\/strong>, do you know what that means? The Blue Flag <strong>is a recognition given by the European Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE) to beaches and marinas that meet established criteria of quality, safety, education, and environmental information<\/strong>, here we share with you what they are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Playa ChacMool<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Playa ChacMool:<\/strong> if you love rough seas, this access will become one of your favorites because most of the year<strong> it enjoys a strong swell.<\/strong> It is just a few steps away from <strong>Plaza Forum<\/strong>, which means that you will find stores very close to provide you with<strong> provisions and enjoy the beach or try some snacks<\/strong> in the nearby restaurants.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-20842\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_637676875-min-1-620x351.jpg\" alt=\"Playa ChacMool\" width=\"620\" height=\"351\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Playa Marl\u00edn<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Playa Marl\u00edn:<\/strong> if you are looking for something private, this beach is an excellent option, however, the waves are very strong, although there are always lifeguards, that does not mean that the color of the water here is unbeatable. Two additional advantages:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>It has a dining area<\/strong> where you can eat with an incredible view.<\/li>\n<li>Very close by is <strong>Plaza Kukulkan, Plaza La Isla, and some other convenience stores.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-20822\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_740944912-min-1-620x491.jpg\" alt=\"Playa Marl\u00edn\" width=\"620\" height=\"491\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Playa Delfines<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Playa Delfines: <\/strong>one of our favorites, so you can&#8217;t miss visiting this place,<strong> it has a gazebo, palapitas, and benches<\/strong> where you can sit and contemplate the wonderful blue sea. <strong>There is also the emblematic colorful &#8220;Cancun&#8221; sign<\/strong>. Something important to mention is that from May to September is <strong>turtle nesting season,<\/strong> so it is forbidden to enter the inclusive water.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-20823\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_1147132235-1-min-620x413.jpg\" alt=\"Playa Delfines\" width=\"620\" height=\"413\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Playa Coral<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Playa Coral:<\/strong> also <strong>known as &#8220;El Mirador II&#8221;<\/strong>. If you are looking to go to the beach with your family pet, this is ideal for you! Playa Coral is one of the only pet-friendly beaches in Cancun.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-20826\" src=\"\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/shutterstock_397990069-min-620x465.jpg\" alt=\"Playa Coral\" width=\"620\" height=\"465\" \/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How about all these options? If you want, you can look for pictures of them so you can choose one and enjoy it.
