Spain\u2019s capital city has food markets, tapas bars<\/a> and monuments galore for those looking for a weekend getaway somewhere stylish and brimming with romance<\/strong> to celebrate Valentine’s day in Spain.<\/p>\n

Take a stroll in the Retiro park<\/strong> and hire a boat to woo your loved one on the boating lake within this delightful park in the centre of the city. There are several must-see monuments nearby including the Alcal\u00e1 gate, the Neptune Fountain and Atocha station\u2019s indoor plant display. The Prado, Thyssen Gallery and the Reina Sofia museums are found on the road opposite to the park<\/strong>. Book a room at the Catalonia Atocha<\/a> and relax in the solarium or heated jacuzzi on the roof terrace with your loved one.<\/p>\n
