It is one of the best places to holiday, and enjoy the sun. The town is a wide bay with a coastline of 35km, making it a wonderful destination for beach lovers<\/strong>. Its bay opens up to the Mediterranean sea, and its port is one of the two important centers of the town. The town\u2019s name is linked to the mining wealth with minerals such as lead, zinc, silver, and iron. The town\u2019s importance grew in the 19th and 20th centuries because of its minerals.
