Stay on the beach of Sitges<\/h2>\n

Situated a little to the east of the town, Platja de Sant Sebasti\u00e0<\/strong> is a great sandy beach to enjoy relaxing on or playing with kids. Platja la Bassa Ronda is a little more grown-up and lively. Either way, these are some superb spots to enjoy swimming, paddling<\/strong> or just soaking up the sun.<\/p>\n

Museu Cau Ferrat<\/h2>\n

This is an art museum that is devoted to Catalan modernism. In it, you will find many works by Santiago Rusi\u00f1ol, one of the founders of that school of art. The museum is located in the heart of the town, close to the seafront. It is housed in Rusi\u00f1ol’s former studio.<\/p>\n

Garraf Natural Park<\/h2>\n

Located between Sant Andreu de la Barca and Sitges, this natural area of parkland is a forested paradise. There are numerous hiking trails to follow<\/strong>, some of them quite steep. Look out for eagles and other forms of native wildlife<\/strong> including boars. The limestone hills of the park contain many caves. Stick to the marked pathways to ensure you return from wherever it was you headed off.<\/p>\n

This thoroughfare has now been pedestrianized making it one of the best ways to get to Sitges by foot<\/strong>. A stroll along the road affords excellent views over the Mediterranean on one side with plenty of bars, souvenir shops, ice cream vendors and restaurants on the other.<\/p>\n
