Today, we want to tell you about the new facilities available for handicap guests with reduced mobility at Catalonia Gran Dominicus, in the Dominican Republic.
In Catalonia Gran Dominicus we love to create smiles and great moments for the memories of our guests, that’s why we install new, ideal, and accessible spaces.
We have three practical easy accesses halls for wheelchairs in the beach, with parasols and available seats to enjoy the wonderful Caribbean ocean view while enjoying a refreshing drink.
Another great novelty that we’ve added to our Resort located at Bayahibe, is the fantastic amphibious chair in which you’ll be able to enjoy a bath in the beach or at the swimming pool. It can even work as a floating device in case of no mobility.
You’re surely asking yourself what is the cost for using this chair. We happily inform that this is part of the All inclusive service and that you can request it upon your arrival. Also, you can “reserve” it (subject to availability) by sending an e-mail to our reservations department.
Finally, we want to remember you that we have also Privileged rooms completely adapted and just far for providing the right service and comfort that you deserve. These rooms count with a wide space in the bathroom area with grips in the sides for a safe handgrip and enough space in the shower.
Additionally, we have at your disposal wheelchairs for you to transit comfortably trough the areas of the resort. We installed ramps strategically located, for example, in our Terrace Tapas & Lounge Restaurant, exclusive for privileged guests.
Remember that all our staff is ready to help you in anything you need or request, so you just have to worry about having the time of your life and enjoy Paradise without complications.
