The hotel chain will manage its first urban hotel at the Caribbean starting in January 2016. It will be located in an area already offering more than 2.700 rooms.
October the 14th, 2015.- Catalonia Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement with the aim of managing, starting in January 2016 and for 15 years, one of the most important hotels in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
The facilities, located in the Caribbean City’s Boulevard, aims to the organization of banquets and conferences, with a 228 rooms offer and more than 1.100m2 salons for events.
From next year, the Hotel will be at the market with the name: Catalonia Santo Domingo. It will be located in one of the higher towers at the Caribbean.

The establishment will offer 228 rooms distributed along 21 storey, and over 1.100m2 exclusive for the organization of events and meeting, an executive storey, 400 parking spaces and an extent offer of entertainment highlighting a casino, one restaurant, 3 bars, fitness zone with ocean view and one outdoor pool.
The property of the building will contribute with 3 million dollars to remodel the facilities and adapt the hotel to the standards of quality and operation of Catalonia Hotels & Resorts.
Enrique Borrás, Expansion Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, mentions that “This business attract us very much, it means the possibility to enlarge our great experience in business tourism, congresses and incentives in a geographic zone in which we’re already positions nationwide”.
