Spending the New Year’s Eve in one of our resorts in the Mexican Riviera Maya is one of the best things you can do to make this special night be unbelievable. That’s why we’ve prepared an activities and events schedule for you to receive 2012 as good as possible.
At the Catalonia Playa Maroma the day starts early, at 10.15am, with fitness, aquagym and dancing clasess. From 7pm it will take place the New Year’s Eve dinner, together with the Wonderful World show, until 11.45pm. That’s when we’ll start saying goodbye to 2011 with the twelve grapes of luck. In 2012, the party will go on until the morning lights.
At the Catalonia Riviera Maya the party will start early, at 5pm, with the European New Year’s toast. It will be followed by music videos, animation shows and live performances by the Banda La Mata at the Yucatán beach until 12am, when we’ll welcome 2012 from the beach. Banda La Mata’s music will be played until 2am and the party will keep going on till 5am in the Disco La Piñata.
And in our adults-only hotel, the Catalonia Royal Tulum, the celebration begins at 6pm with a cocktail and canapés tasting at the chillout area, followed by the New Year’s Eve dinner and music around the pool until 10pm. That’s when the Great New Year’s Eve Celebration under the Caribbean sky will take place, and with which we’ll say hello to 2012.
