Lovely hotel, very clean and staff were friendly and helpful.
Very comfortable stay at the hotel, breakfast was amazing and room was spotless, comfortable and shower was excellent. Only shame was the building site next door which made relaxing by the pool quite hard but once the building work is complete I'm sure it will be even better! :)

Great Stay!
We only spent one night in the hotel but it certainly did the job. A very warm welcome with a glass of cava, spotlessly clean rooms with everything you would need for an overnight stay .The location is perfect for an evening walk into town for dinner, although we did get lost on our way back! Will definitely use again if we need to.

Catalonia comfort
Somewhat isolated location but great views of the harbour. Highlight is the health-conscious buffet breakfast!! Not that impressed with the set dinner .

Excellent location for shopping
The hotel location is walking distance to the museum, central market and tons of restaurants and shops as well as the pier. If you are looking for beach access this is not the place you want. The hotel does have a good size pool and plenty of lounging chairs and umbrellas. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Hotel Catalonia Mirador des Port
Hotel very nice in general. Staff very courteous. Room and bed very nice, although floor very dirty. Our 4 day break was ruined by the fact that apart from breakfast, there was no where at any other time of the day or evening, by any means obtaining food. On our arrival we were told that the restaurant would be closed until 27th December. We arrived on the 24th December. Had this information been given to me at the time of my booking or 2 days previous to my arrival date, I would have cancelled my reservation. We were told that the bar was also closed, but the reception person would get us a drink or coffee if required. Obviously a closed bar, does not give off any joyful feelings. The bar area was very nice with tables and chairs looking out onto the pools. A nice place to sit and have a leisurely drink, not so when the bar is closed. So no food, unless you have room service, but that must be ordered by 8.00pm, and this was obviously Table d'hote, served in a room that had no facilities for a 2 course evening meal and drinks. We asked if we could eat our food at the bar tables. No, we were told, because they didn't have anybody to serve the food. Oh, l said, then we need to come down and take our food up to our room do we. Oh no, the staff said we will bring your food up to your room. Then, why can't you just carry the food to the bar tables, you pass them on your journey up to our room, l said. No, we can't do that because other people might want to eat their food at the bar tables they replied. I said, none of this makes for any sense. Had l also known, that the evening meal was not going to be cooked by a professional chef, l think, I would have gone by taxi again, ( because no food at all was available on the 24th December when we arrived at 5.00pm) back to the Chinese Restaurant we ate at the previous evening and had a much better meal there for our 60.00 euros. Although your hotel information states that the Port centre is 500 metres away. It doesn't say that it's 500 metres down a lot of very steep steps, or up a hill and then down hill to the port. We are in our late 70s, hills and steps are very difficult for us. I think your information should state that a car is highly recommended. Also when leaving any of your lifts and/or in the lifts, there is no sign to say which floor reception is on. When leaving the lifts, you enter an area that is a blank wall. A sign would be very helpful. Both in the lift and out side as you leave the lift. We have stayed in many hotels over holiday periods, especially Christmas, but this l am pleased to say, is the first time the hotel has been virtually closed. We spent over 100 euros on taxi fares in order to eat. What should have been a lovely Christmas weekend break, turned into a very troublesome one. To add to the above, on arrival at 5.00pm, we were told no food at all would be available, either then or later in the evening. Not a good start to our holiday. The receptionist was very helpful and sourced a Chinese restaurant in the port. Possibly the only restaurant open. Lets hope the hotel manager enjoyed a very nice weekend.
