A Short Stay at a Beautiful Hoel
We decided to stay at the Catalonia because of the location and partking. The photos in the booking site did not do it justice. This is a gorgeous hotel with comfortable rooms and attentive staff. I wish we could have stayed much longer.

Lovely visit to Ronda
Staying at the Reina Victoria was very comfortable and we received an upgrade to a room with a terrace which was very welcome. The views from the back of the hotel and bar are spectacular on a lovely warm afternoon in February.

Brilliant
Me and my wife had a room with terrace overlooking the mountains such a stunning view. The room was clean and well facilitated. The hotel was absolutely wonderful. Restaurant and breakfast severed delicious food. This was the best hotel I've stayed at for the price we paid. Highly recommended

Amazing hotel we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Wonderful large room with balcony, comfortable bed and all amenities. Great breakfast and very good restaurant for dinner. Welcoming and helpful staff. Convenient location (10 minute walk to bridge and gorge) and views of surrounding landscape. The hotel is the perfect base for a few days to explore the Pueblos Blancos and Ronda itself.

Beautiful location...room for improvement
The location is, quite obviously, beautiful. The staff were very professional and helpful. The light lunch in the cafe was good. The factors that lower my rating are: The room, I just didn't like it. The design, the decor, the functionality is poor (they have food that they want you to buy spread across the only bathroom counter space. On a good note, the bed was comfortable. You cannot just go to the cafeteria on site for a coffee and tostada or croissant, you have to pay for the entire breakfast at €18 per person. One thing that is more of an overall suggestion but not a fault of the hotel per se... I forgot my contact solution, which was my own fault. I didn't realize until 20:30 when we were getting ready to go to dinner. I asked the front desk if they had any to purchase and they did not, but gave me directions to a farmacia which was 10 minutes outside of the town center, or another which would require a taxi. I suggest that these things are available to purchase at the hotel (a toiletries minibar?) because this really put a negative spin on my night. I was here with a family group, so I didn't choose where we would stay. While I would not have chosen this particular Catalonia because I have stayed here before, I would choose the Catalonia in the center, or even one of the small boutique hotels in the center.

Reasonable stay
stayed one night. found the room to be well equipped. the negatives are the Air con. it only has one speed and one temperature, 100% HOT AIR. ended up sleeping with the patio door open. this was during a cold spell as well so i would hate to think what the summer would be like in the room. sheets also smelled a little old and dusty. possibly due to the Air con over time breakfast was reasonable but would recommend filtered pot of coffee as an option. also charging for parking in a car park that you own and not providing valet service is a little rich

Lovely hotel
We had wonderful time in the hotel from the time of check-in till we leave. We got upgraded to junior suite with terrace facing valley. That was kind gesture from the hotel. We loved the room was spacious and bed/mattress was very very comfortable. We had good sleep during our stay. The surroundings of the hotel building was well maintained and inviting to step out from the room to explore. We had great 2 nights stay and didn't regret booking this hotel.

Home away from home
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in the Catalonia Reina Victoria lodge: homely, comfortable, beautiful inside with stunning views. The location is convenient, even though it takes a few more minutes to reach an older part of the city. Rooms are spacious, very clean. Very helpful accommodating staff, Easy parking.

Fabulous views
My daughter and I love this hotel. While about a 5-10 minute walk from the "action", it is very quiet and relaxing with the most incredible views of the valley and mountains. Our room was spacious with wonderful amenities, and we enjoyed our private terrace for our morning coffee and sunsets. We came away feeling very relaxed. Lunch or drinks on the terrace are also a must. We will definitely stay here again!

Great hotel and better service
We were impressed by the extra touches like a complimentary wine in the room and by the overall service provided. Staff were extremely professional and hotel was immaculate!

Great view
Good: the view from the room and the room itself. Also the view from the lobby is lovely. Not so good: quality of the food was poor — taste the pizza and ask: does this taste good to you? Also the beds moved away from the wall — some bedframes would help.

peaceful location
Fantastic staff who couldn't do enough for you! very comfy beds even had a pillow menu! Breakfast buffet was excellent couldn't fault it! Restaurant food could have been better for the price couple of dishes not on menu and lacked colour on the presentation of mains but the waiter Francisco was superbly attentive and ensuring that he did all he could as was the receptionist!

Great hotel and location, service could be better
The hotel looked like it was taken out of a dream. The location and the views were perfect and the bar staff and breakfast were great. However, one night after returning to our room, we noticed the door was completely open. We had both of our entry cards with us (so there was no reason why the door could have been opened with our cards). We went down to the front desk to inform what had happened and ask for the receptionist to see the camera tapes but were informed that there were no cameras in our floor and that there was nothing that could be done.
