Would you like to discover Roman Barcelona without even going out? At the Catalonia Magdalenes hotel it is possible, since in the hall you can see three original pieces of the city's ancient Roman aqueduct on display. This is because it is located in an area where there are still many vestiges of the old Barcino. In fact, in the nearby Plaça Vuit de Març you will be able to see the arcades of the aqueduct, built during the 1st century BC, when the city was founded. This provided it with water, whose origin was the sources of Montcada, a few kilometers away.
