You will be staying close to the centre of town, just five minutes on foot from the cathedral, casino and calles Trapería and Platería. Our recently refurbished facilities boast a contemporary design and are open for tourism and business.

In summer, you can enjoy our rooftop with a dip in the urban pool or soak up the sun on the loungers. Don't miss our buffet breakfast every morning and drop into the Gastrobar to eat or drink throughout the day. If you need to plan a business conference or private celebration, our two event rooms have everything to make it a success. Parking is no problem since we have a private car park 50 metres from the hotel with EV charging points.

Did you know that in 1978 a group of delegates drafted and signed the pre-autonomy letter for Murcia at the Conde Floridablanca hotel? When you come to stay, you will see a commemorative plaque in memory of that important day in the history of the region. The hotel takes its name from the Count of Floridablanca, who was Prime Minister of King Carlos III, and is classified as a typical Murcian building. In addition, inside, it houses a sculpture by the native artist Antonio Campillo and, as you will see, each of the rooms bears the name of a Murcian city.

Whether you come for business or to go sightseeing and get to know the city, we have the perfect room for you. All have parquet floors and a modern decoration that combines white and orange tones. In addition, in the terrace rooms you can enjoy beautiful views of the Barrio del Carmen from the private terrace, or sunbathe on the loungers.

On the hotel's renovated terrace, on the 6th floor, you will find an urban pool that, in fact, is the only rooftop urban pool of all the hotels in Murcia. You can also relax on the sun loungers in the solarium while you tan and connect to the free WIFI. If you like sports, in the gym at the Catalonia Conde de Floridablanca hotel you can continue to stay in shape while you're away from home, as we have state-of-the-art machines that are free to use for all our guests.

If you are up early, come and enjoy our buffet breakfast with a wide variety of dishes such as eggs, sausages, bacon, as well as cold meats, cheeses, freshly baked pastries and squeezed orange juice. During the rest of your day you can go to the Gastrobar to have a wine or an Asian coffee, typical of Murcia and made with orange, liquor, cinnamon, condensed milk and coffee beans. It is also the ideal place to have lunch or dinner any of the dishes on our Mediterranean and international menu, among which you will also find Murcian proposals such as zarangollo, lean meat with tomato and potatoes or garden vegetables.

If you are in Murcia for work, our business hotel will be very comfortable for you, since you can organize conventions and meetings in any of the two event rooms that we have, the Catalonia room and the Salón del Carmen. Both have audiovisual equipment rental options and catering menus in different formats such as coffee breaks, lunch, cocktails, etc. In addition, we have the El Conde restaurant, a private room for group dinners and celebrations under reservation.

We make it very easy for you if you come to the hotel by car, since we have our own parking just 50 meters from the building. This has special chargers for electric vehicles (rates to check with reception via email or phone).

From the Catalonia Conde de Floridablanca hotel you can visit the entire city of Murcia on foot, because its location is very close to the most touristic monuments of the historic quarter, such as the cathedral, the Iglesia del Carmen, the Salzillo Museum or the famous Trapería streets and Platería. In addition, it is very well connected to the public transport network, just 10 minutes from the train station.

Around the hotel you will find the Jardín de Floridablanca (the first public garden in Spain), perfect for strolling and, if you are traveling with your family, the Aquarium will fascinate the little ones. If you are a fan of music and shows, Murcia is your city, you will always have a wide variety of attractive proposals in places such as the Plaza de Toros, the Artillery Barracks, the Auditorium, the Circus Theater or the Romea Theatre.

GASTROBAR

An informal space where you can eat or have a drink whenever you feel like it, without sacrificing quality and flavor. On the gastrobar menu you will find everything from snacks to dishes inspired by Mediterranean cuisine, as well as typical Murcian dishes such as zarangollo or magra with tomato. If you fancy a coffee, have an Asian, Asian coffee, typical of Murcia and made with orange , liquor, cinnamon, condensed milk and coffee beans. In addition, the bar has television with sports channels so you don't miss a thing.
