Opened at the end of 2009, the Catalonia Catedral hotel is located just a few steps from the impressive Gothic-style Barcelona Cathedral dedicated to Saint Eulalia, patron saint of the city. Upon arrival, you will be dazzled by the hotel's façade, which occupies a historic building built in 1910. In a reddish salmon tone, this façade is a sample of the Viennese Secessionist current in Barcelona. An artistic and architectural movement that is included within modernism and is characterized by the search for balance and the geometrization of forms. As you will see, the balconies have railings with abstract plant motifs that contrast with the sobriety of the façade.

When you enter the hotel, you will be surprised by the atmosphere of calm and comfort that reigns inside in contrast to the bustle of its central location. After the reception, you will arrive at the interior patio decorated with an incredible mural that represents a Gothic church, including the stained glass windows and the rose window.
