In city hotel
The hotel and its staff, was great. breakfast option catered for coeliac and had plenty of gluten free options available once you have asked. although be warned they can not be held responsible for other peoples, inconsiderate use of double dipping into jams etc. hotel was clean even if a little warn around the edges. pool area was also clean and quiet. no tea and coffee facilities in the room, and this is probably the only reason i would not return. its personal preference but i like to have a coffee before i get ready for the day ahead.

Good experience in a pretty average hotel
Hotel was absolutely fine - like a standard 3 star. Rooms were clean and we had a nice balcony. Bathrooms were dated but had been upgraded and the mirrors and lighting were great. Air con worked well. The fridge also. There was some storage - enough to survive a few days. The hotel was a bit of a maze - hard to find the pool. The pool was TINY - and there were a lot of people at it. Basically everyone just on the floor. The views around the pool weren't good - old buildings surrounding it. The pool was sunny during the day and in the shade from 4/5pm onwards. We got a free welcome drink on arrival which was nice. However the amount I'd to pay was more than what I'd agreed via email - they said it was taxes but these hadn't been noted on the email. I went 3 times to enquire about this and still never got anything sorted. The hotel was SUPER expensive for the 3 nights we were there - over 500 EUR for 3 nights for a very average hotel and location so this was very frustrating. The hotel was quite close to a metro but other than this it wasn't that close to much else. You'd to walk or metro to get food or anything.

Friendly staff
We had a very nice stay at your hotel. The staff was very friendly, the room clean and a very good breakfast. The hotel is also in a very good location close to the metro station.

Great location
I booked a single room. Room size was fine, good bathroom & storage space. However, the single room's window faced onto the internal staff staircase, and the doors banging up and down all floors began early morning. I requested to move the second day and was told it was impossible, the hotel was sold out, and that the staff's early movements at that was 'was impossible'. So that wasn't great. It was a holiday weekend in barcelona, so I understand that the hotel was busy, however there were no options offered to me at that time that mitigated the noise. However, on my 3rd and final night, I was moved to a double room, which was lovely. Staff remediation was late, but welcome.

It could have been great
I really like the location of this hotel and the staff in reception were good however the room although I got upgraded was not great first of all difficult to open as the wood in the door was expanded and you really needed to force it, the smell of cigarette was overwhelming and our sink was not draining and you could not fix the plug ( this was reported and did not get fixed in our stay despite asking 3 times so having a full bowl of murky sink water was not a nice sight and having to wash hands in shower after a while was not ideal.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay
From the moment we arrived we felt very welcome. The receptionists are lovely and they checked us in early as our rooms were ready when we arrived which was a huge bonus. Our room was compact but had everything we needed. It was cleaned every day. There were lots of hot water and clean towels. The beds were very comfortable. The barman looked after us really well, the service there was excellent. One night we had pizza in the bar for supper which was very good. We had the breakfast buffet every morning which was excellent and very good value for money, at 9 euros. There was a chef who would cook you anything you wanted. All the staff in the hotel are really friendly and helpful.. The location of the hotel is excellent, very near Metro, bars and restaurants and the Sagrada Familia. The Metro is quite easy to use and getting from the airport to the hotel was easy. There are assistants at ticket machines to help if you need it (we certainly did initially). I would definitely stay at this hotel again when returning to Barcelona. Many thanks to all the staff.

Sagrada Superlative
After over a year of cancellations of trying to get to Barcelona due to the coronavirus situation we finally made it and chose the Catalonia sagrada Familia of which I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted with a warm inviting welcome. A very clean and well managed hotel and will definitely be staying again,
