On the one hand, Zanzibar, where the first Catalonia hotel will be located on the African continent, is a paradise island belonging to Tanzania that preserves the authenticity of its past. Its crystal-clear waters and white sand beaches are ideal for enjoying a holiday of calm and relaxation.  

On the other hand, Malaga, one of the most popular Andalusian destinations for urban getaways due to its vibrant artistic and cultural panorama, its historical heritage, its great gastronomic offer and its beaches bathed by the Alboran Sea. 

Finally, we reinforced our presence in Madrid with the opening of the eighth Catalonia hotel in the city. The Spanish capital is one of our most crucial destinations due to its institutional, economic, historical and cultural relevance.

It is the second Catalonia Grand resort after Costa Mujeres in Mexico, which translates into enjoying a premium accommodation experience. The Catalonia Grand Zanzibar All Suites & Spa will be a 5-star all-inclusive resort with more than 7 hectares. It will have the best first-class services and facilities, which will make it a benchmark on the island: 272 suites, two of them water villas, private beach, 800 m2 pool and 1,600 m2 spa. 

It will be located in an incomparable natural environment, in the north of Zanzibar, in the Pwami Mchangani area, famous for its paradisiacal white sand beaches and coral reefs, a few kilometers from the Kichwele forest reserve. A true paradise where you can enjoy an all-inclusive holiday as a couple, with family or friends. 

The Catalonia Grand Zanzibar All Suites & Spa will offer an extensive and careful gastronomic offer, with 6 restaurants and 8 bars with culinary proposals from different parts of the world, among which the Bloved restaurant, with Mediterranean cuisine, stands out. You will also enjoy facilities such as the Jetty area, a walkway that extends into the Indian Ocean with a bar, lounge area and pool that fills when the tide rises. 

The construction of the Catalonia Grand Zanzibar All Suites & Spa, with a scheduled completion date of the end of 2025, implies our long-term commitment to environmental conservation. Responsible consumption of resources, minimization of the carbon footprint and reduction of waste to make its activity increasingly sustainable. 

The Catalonia Plaza España will become our eighth hotel in Madrid, located in the best area of Gran Vía, between Callao and Plaza España, a few minutes from essential tourist enclaves such as the Royal Palace, the Casa de Campo or the Sabatini Gardens . 

It is an emblematic building and in which we are carrying out a major renovation project that we expect to finish at the end of 2024. The Catalonia Plaza España will be a 4-star hotel and will house 165 rooms, some of them with a terrace and private jacuzzi. 

To offer a superior experience to our guests, the hotel will also have a 700 m2 spa area dedicated to body well-being and a rooftop pool with a solarium area and incredible views over Gran Vía and the center of the capital. In addition to a restaurant and gastrobar with a gastronomic offer at the culinary forefront and a fully equipped gym. 

The opening of our first hotel in Malaga and the seventh in Andalusia is scheduled for the end of 2024. With a privileged location just a few meters from Larios Street, in the epicenter of the city, it will have a 4-star category after the comprehensive renovation in the 2 buildings that make it up. 

The result will be a hotel with 72 rooms and top quality facilities so that our guests can enjoy their stay in the capital of Malaga. Among them you will find a gastrobar and restaurant, where, as in the rest of our hotels, we will offer careful cuisine, as well as a gym equipped with the latest generation machines. 

The new Catalonia Málaga hotel is another example of our commitment to a market as interesting as the south of Spain, where we plan to continue growing in the future.
