Come to the Catalonia Puerta del Sol hotel and you will stay in a building from the end of the 18th century, classified as part of the historical complex of the town of Madrid and which bears the title of Artistic Heritage of the City. In addition, the property is one of the first to be built in the area. During the restoration of the building we wanted to give special prominence to the main entrance, an old entrance hall originally fitted out for horse carriages. The restoration work on this entrance was, without a doubt, the most complicated, since it is a floor embedded with stones weighing 200 kg each, which had to receive a specific treatment to preserve it in the best conditions.
