In 15 minutes walking you will arrive at the most essential visit of all in Barcelona, the Expiatory Temple of the Sagrada Familia. If you prefer, you can also get around by metro, just 1 stop from Encants (purple line). Admire this fascinating modernist work on which Gaudí worked for much of his professional career and which represents the culmination of the naturalistic style so typical of the Catalan architect.

When it is finished it will be the tallest Christian church in the world, but until today you will be able to marvel at the façade of the nativity scene, with the impressive towers or with the play of light from the stained glass windows inside. After your visit, go up Avinguda Gaudí, full of lampposts that will catch your eye, until you reach the Modernist Hospital of Sant Pau, which, although not as popular, is also worth a visit during your stay in Barcelona.
